Pickworths win Top Fundraising Team Prize for ‘Walk with the Stars’ Girls night out.
You may remember back in June, eight members of Pickworths staff took part in The Hospice of St Francis 13 mile sponsored midnight walk. We asked our clients, staff, families and friends to sponsor us and raised a very impressive £3,086.
The Hospice was awarding a ‘Special Girls Night In’ prize for the team that raised the most money on the night. We didn’t think we stood a chance of winning considering a massive £185,000 was raised but amazingly we did.
We would once again like to thank all our clients, staff, families and friends who sponsored us. The Hospice will use the money raised to extend services to their Inpatient Unit, Day Hospice facility, Specialist Home Care Nurses team and Family Support care.
